Adult and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

Juan Rivolta Psychiatry is a micro-practice dedicated to offering unparalleled, personalized and up-to-date psychiatric care. Dr. Rivolta is double boarded in child and adult psychiatry, and he continues to work as voluntary faculty at Westchester Medical Center.
A micro-practice (or “solo-practice”) is a one-doctor, small-footprint medical practice with the goal of decreasing overhead cost to spend more time with patients and provide the best psychiatric care possible. Micro-practices limit the size of the patient population, allowing for patient-centered work, and fostering a strong patient-doctor relationship.

Personalized Psychiatric Care

Our approach includes a thorough and extensive psychiatric evaluation to fully understand each patient’s life history, as well as all factors potentially contributing to illness.

We provide a safe, inclusive, and compassionate environment where patients can feel comfortable and heard, and we work closely and collaboratively with families, therapists, and schools.

Treatment is tailored to the individual’s needs, considering each patient’s unique circumstances, and looking at medications as one potential therapeutic resource.
